Pre-Meeting Mindset

Above all the person that starts the conversation has less power through the conversation.

Above all the person who talks the most has less power in the conversation.

Keep things short, succinct, actionable, and speak confidently.

Meeting Convo Outline

“hi”

“So what did you want to have this meeting for?”

Past Meeting

“Yea so I’ll give a brief reminder of what happened last meeting.”

“We had a meeting last time because I was mass emailing students with the intent of soliciting a paid service. Of course I now know this is completely inappropriate because a university setting is not for soliciting, but instead a setting to learn from others and to teach others.”

Cooper Mission

“I realized I also didn’t understand enough of cooper’s mission, so I looked into that.”

“We want to create the most hirable employee possible. Cooper students are super soldiers in the realm of employment and jobs.”

Who Decides

“I also realized that in order to make changes in this school it has to be through the commander. At the end of the day the person in charge is the leader and the decision maker.”

“From a tactical perspective, the final decision is always left to the commander, although it is part of the job for commanders to always be open to suggestions from lower ranks so long as they align fully with the mission at hand.”

“I want to make it very clear that for all the things that I propose, you get the final say.”
